Sock Monkey Birthday Card

Hi everyone~

I went to a birthday party this weekend for my niece. I created this card for her using Sock Monkey and some Sale-A-Bration items (the So Saffron grosgrain ribbon and the Delicate Dots DSP). I also used my Big Shot and the dotted Texturz plate. Did you notice the new scallop oval punch? LOVE IT!!!

The technique I used in this card was paper piecing - perfect to fill large spaces (like Sock Monkey's body) when you don't want to color in!

Technique Tuesday - Aged Tiles Technique

At last month's Technique Tuesday class, I taught the Aged Tiles technique. This is a really fun and easy technique. My customers loved it! For this card, I used Upsy Daisy and the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Congratulations.

September 2008 Card Kit - Upsy Daisy

Many of my wonderful customers are not able to attend my stamp camps and classes I hold in my home. I wanted to find a way to keep their stamped card stash filled, so I created my first Card Kit last month. Several stampers took advantage of this kit, and by the response so far, they have been extremely pleased!
